We are looking for a technical sales profile to join and grow in our sales structure, supporting both customers and departmental colleagues.
The ideal candidate has a strong propensity for human relations and a determination to deepen his knowledge of a technical field, with frequent opportunities to get involved in solving concrete customer problems.
After thorough in-house training, you will be in charge of:
- providing technical advice to foreign and Italian customers to offer them the best solution and possible alternatives;
- formulating quotations, preparing commercial offers and negotiating the conditions associated with them;
- managing, entering and processing orders, interfacing with internal departments and monitoring the progress of goods and deliveries, in close - cooperation with Production and Warehouse;
- co-ordination of foreign shipments, including those outside the EEC, with responsibility for compliance with any customs obligations or specific packing and packaging requirements;
- updating of quotations and price lists;
- written and telephone correspondence to customers
- preparation of reports and power point presentations in support of the sales force;
- possible participation in trade fairs / trade visits / industry events, both in Italy and abroad;
- possible customer training in in-person courses, online webinars and/or technical seminars.
Requirements:
✅ excellent knowledge of the English language
✅ excellent knowledge of French and/or Spanish
✅ technical training or aptitude for working in a context where technical knowledge of solutions is the most important tool for providing solid commercial support
✅ entrepreneurship, curiosity and results orientation
✅ good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular Excel
✅ self-driving
✅ availability for short assignments in Italy and other European countries (max. 25% of time)
Plus:
- degree in Architecture or Engineering
- knowledge of other languages relevant to the management of European customers (Dutch, German, Arabic)
- experience in the role of Commercial Back Office in Italian and/or foreign companies
- experience in logistics management of product shipments destined for markets in EMEA
- knowledge of autocad or other similar sw solutions for reading technical drawings
- knowledge of the BIM approach to design
The profile is completed by: strong problem solving skills, team working, good interpersonal approach to dealing with customers and other internal company departments, autonomy in managing one's own work and deadlines.
