Technical Features

Made of a material with a high thermal-expanding capacity, when heated, AF SLEEVES seal the pass-through pipe by completely filling the gap left by the combustible pipe collapse. The product's reduced thickness enable its application around the pipe directly inside the rigid structure.
  • Available sizes: from 30-160 mm;
  • Free expansion: >20:1;
  • Activation temperature: ≈ 180°C;
  • Pressure generated: 10 bar;
  • Thickness depending on the diameter;
  • Height 50 mm.

    Specification

    Supply and application of AF SLEEVES intumescent sleeves, which have an expansive capacity of more than 20 times the initial volume, covered in polyethylene, for protection up to EI 240 of combustible pipe penetrations in walls and floors.

    Application Method

    1. wrap AF SLEEVES around the combustible pipe;
    2. secure the sleeve with adhesive tape and insert it into the wall or floor;
    3. complete the sealing with a concrete casting (mortar or concrete).
